Welcome to Southern Illinois' Film Society! Film Society will be hosted on an online format for this semester. We will be posting weekly about: movies we have watched, movies we are currently watching, and movies that no one will ever watch. Discussion times and dates will also be posted here, as well as when and where to catch us next.

 

Be on the look out for new and upcoming feature films, because we will never post about them here. It is nothing personal, just preference.

Southern Illinois Film Society started in humble beginnings as a group of college friends. Their Facebook page's first post was a repost of Welcome to the Night Vale's quote, "A bunch of starlings is a murmuration. A bunch of otters is a romp. A bunch of spiders is in your sock drawer." And we stand by that quote.

Matt Gordon and Sarah Zeman, alongside Sarah Niehoff, and others were the founding members of our Film Society. We thank them, and those who joined us last year for supporting this rank RSO.
